“Experimentation also involves attention to the normally unnoticed… In other words, attention alters what is attended. Playing with everyday life often is just paying attention to what is conventionally hidden." (Kaprow, 2003)
I am currently working through a list of 'I Wills': playing tasks, which have no clear intent other than to play. The list draws from what is right under my nose, my everyday, as personal thoughts permeate my art practice. I have chosen to carry out these playful acts as they prove to be lucrative, productive and self-generating, often leading to something unexpected but sparking.
